It was inevitable that I would become a creative professional. As the daughter of a seasoned photojournalist, creative storytelling is in my blood. Born and raised in Ontario, I studied Photography at Sheridan College and Communications Design at Seneca @ York before arriving in Calgary, Alberta, my current home base.
I have worked in ad agencies, creating campaigns from start to finish, while my photographs have been featured in Avenue Magazine, The Calgary Herald, Westjet Magazine, Swerve Magazine, The Montreal Gazette, Photolife & more. A few of my commercial clients include BMW, Nike USA, Kraft Canada, m2i Developments, Concorde Entertainment Group, and more.
in 2014, I took top honours at the Alberta Magazine Publishers Awards, winning a Gold Photography Award for 'Au Vieux Fanal' from the Rooms for Tourists project.
If I could photograph anyone, it would be Kim Gordon, founding member of Sonic Youth. My favourite Pantone colour is Warm Grey 2.
